On the morning of October 28th, 2025, Prof. SHI Xianliang, Vice President of Beijing Jiaotong University met with China-Central Eastern University official delegation .
SHI Xianliang conveyed a warm welcome to the delegation on behalf of the university. He introduced the university history, student cultivation, strength disciplines, internationalization development, participation in the national railway transport construction. He wished to take the opportunity to proactively expand the two-way faculty-student exchanges etc.
China-Central Eastern University official delegation was thankful for the warm reception, and spoke highly of the efforts the university made concerning cooperation with the China-Central Eastern universities and the contribution to national railway transport construction. The delegation members respectively introduced on the universities they represented and strength disciplines they had. They put forward cooperative initiatives on student cultivation, joint scientific research and collaborative innovation among enterprises, universities, and research institutions.
Before the meeting, the delegation took a visit to the university museum and State Key Laboratory of Advanced Rail Autonomous Operation.
Heads and staff from School of Economics and Management, School of Continuing Education, and Office of International Affairs attended the event.
