Vice President of Washington State University Visited BJTU

On March 16, 2017, Vice President CHEN Feng met with Prof. Chris Keane, Vice President of Washington State University (WSU), and signed Cooperation Agreement in the field of electrical engineering on behalf of BJTU.

CHEN Feng extended his welcome to Chris Keane and introduced the current internationalization development achievements of BJTU. He expected that School of Electrical Engineering, Hanergy School of Renewable Energy of BJTU could strengthen the cooperation with Energy System Innovation Center of WSU in the field of electrical engineering and renewable energy.

Chris Keane made a brief introduction of WSU and the progress regarding international cooperation and research. He expected that both parties could take full advantage of the platform of Energy System Innovation Center and enhance the cooperation between the two universities in research collaboration, faculty and student exchanges and other fields of mutual interests.

After the meeting, Vice President CHEN Feng and Vice President Chris Keane signed the Agreement on behalf of the two universities.

Principals from School of Electrical Engineering, Hanergy School of Renewable Energy, Office of Academic Affairs, Office of Research and Office of International Affairs attended the meeting.
