【词义解释】

最近，“地摊经济”频上热搜，那你知道地摊怎么用英语来表达吗？booth/stall/stand都可以表达摊位的意思，booth指一个小隔间，或两面、三面围起来的小空间，可以是电话亭、雅座、售货摊、展位等；stall一般侧重于集市上的摊位，夜市上的摊位就可以叫stall；与booth和stall相比，stand更侧重于开放空间的独立摊位。那么“地摊”就可以用roadside stall或street stall，意思是在集中规划的市集区域，不会影响到城市环境的摊位。要注意“roadside business”可不是路边摊的意思，而是汽车旅馆、汽车影院、洗车店等与汽车服务相关的店铺。

今年的全国两会上，不少人大代表提出要激活地摊经济。5月28日，国务院总理李克强出席记者会并回答中外记者提问时提到，“西部有个城市，按照当地的规范，设置了3.6万个流动商贩的摊位，结果一夜之间有10万人就业。”

6月1日上午，李克强总理在山东烟台考察时表示，地摊经济、小店经济是就业岗位的重要来源，是人间的烟火，和“高大上”一样，是中国的生机。
