    愿景指出，双方坚定反对日益上升的保护主义和逆全球化思潮(firm opposition to the growing protectionist and anti-globalization sentiments)，重申国际贸易与投资是实现经济可持续增长(realize sustainable economic growth)、减少社会不平等(reduce social inequality)、保障各国人民享有更美好生活(a better life)的重要引擎。

    中国和东盟对双方贸易、投资和旅游往来继续强劲快速增长(continued strong and rapid growth of trade, investment and tourism flows between them)表示欢迎，双方将加强能力建设，调动各方资源，开展支持东盟一体化和共同体建设(ASEAN integration and community-building)的互利合作，提升中国-东盟战略伙伴关系，对接《东盟互联互通总体规划2025》与中方"一带一路"倡议共同的重点领域，努力以互利共赢方式促进区域各互联互通战略的对接(synergize the various connectivity strategies in the region in a manner that would be mutually beneficial)。
